Veronica Gonzales (CEO & Founder)

Our Story

Our story begins with our founder, Veronica Gonzales. Once a single mother of 3 beginning at the age of 27, she had nowhere to turn to for help. Accepting the only options she felt this world had to offer her, she found herself at the end of the road broken, lost and fearful for her children. In this moment, she turned to the Lord for true restoration. Twenty years later and saved by the grace of God, she answered the call to offer women the resources and help that she once needed. This is where The Prayer House of Jireh began; We are a restoration and discipleship home established in San Angelo, Texas and first opened our doors to the community in 2020.

Vision and Mission -

Vision: The Prayer House of Jireh started with a deep burden for the lost. Veronica Gonzales was given a revelation from the one true living God; that in this ministry she would be entrusted with the opportunity to deliver those who are captive from captivity. Drawing daughters and children of God from the streets of San Angelo and surrounding areas.

Mission: Our mission is to connect broken souls to the Word of God. We will not just offer shelter to the women and children, but to offer them restoration through Christ Jesus. This is all in good faith that we can help them return back into society as productive members of our community.
